Tis the season for fireworks, where the birthplace of America (Philadelphia) got in the spirit of Independence Day and offered some amazing works in the sky.
So naturally, I got the chance to check out and photograph a few firework shows. My journey started with a great firework display on June 28th at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, which served as a finale for the Tall Ships Festival and ended with the very popular 4th of July fireworks on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
After this experience, I must say that fireworks are now my favorite things to photograph. Don’t get me wrong, I love to take pictures of a lot of things but there’s something about being apart of a crowd and watching the loud, bright and colorful formations in the sky.
