Here are some photos I took during my journey to see Pope Francis. I was surrounded by thousands of pilgrims anxiously waiting to get a peep of the Pope in his (very fast) motorcade. I’ve never experienced anything like it, people were actually nice and extremely patient waiting in line (for hours) to go through the security check points. It took me about three hours to pass through the security check point at 20th & Arch, I was standing shoulder to shoulder with the people around me. Each tiny step felt like a small victory toward the finish line. Once I made it through, all I saw was hundreds of smiling faces and people chanting “¡Viva El Papa, Viva La Familia!”
